Glad you're doing better. Had one of those pillows. Don't want another one.
Looking forward to you supplying many more years of parts.

I asked the same thing. I emailed John Bizal of Midwest Military and he said he manufactured the adapters for himself and the other vendors. He said they had a problem and when they worked out the problem or redesigned them, he would offer them again.
No one has them right now.

So they are on hold ...

Glad you're doing good now, Wes. Just after they repaired my valve because of a broken leaflet, they came out with much less invasive techniques. I know John will feel so much better after he recovers.
Praying for a speedy recovery.

Had that surgery about 20 years ago. It's not as invasive now with a little incision instead of them splitting me open and putting a ceramic ring in the heart. Praying for a quick recovery, you will feel much better when it's all done.
Get well soon. Praying for John and his family.

Praying for a quick recovery for John. He is the reason my M38A1's are running. Hope to see him up and about soon.

I have the test leads set. We used tat set to troubleshoot the ignition system. I would love to have a military meter if I could a working one at a decent price.

So, if I have adjusted the points gap correctly, I don't need to check the dwell. I was going to use the dwell/tachometer to set the idle speed and the vacuum gauge to set the idle speed and adjust the carburetor. Right now, I have to give the Jeep gas slowly, or it will bog down. I may need to ...

Can I use a regular 12V dwell meter on the M38A1 24V

If I just connect to the battery that goes to ground, can I use a 12V dwell meter on my 24V M38A1. Wanted to give it a really good tune up with the dwell meter and the vacuum gauge. Will it work, or will the ignition burn it up?

Thanks,

Dave

Good point.

One steering wheel had ugly words scratched into it.
Driver was not happy with the Army at the time.

One M38A1 hood I got with some spare parts had a decal that said, "This Vehicle costs 1987.00."
Interesting, Did they think the soldiers would take better care of the equipment if they knew how much it cost?

I have seen the secure hood and the antifreeze stencils on the hoods and one with the cost ...

The thick spacer dictates the fuel pump pressure.
Make sure you have one.

Had a more modern aftermarket dual action fuel pump on the Civilian 64 CJ5 when I got it and the fuel pressure was way too high. Had to run a fuel pressure regulator to keep from always flooding the carb.
