Hi Hawkshadow. There are lots of Jeep owners in the Toronto area. Do you belong to the OMVA? We have a show in Acton in October and you could meet lots of M series guys there. Take a trip to Oshawa to the museum and talk to Frank Moore of Tank Builders fame. He is a great guy and a wealth of ...

If you have located one at a decent price then just buy it. Too many times I have hesitated buying something thinking I might find one cheaper and ended up loosing out and not getting one at all. Just saying!

Having parcels shipped by UPS across the border is horrendously expensive. UPS really takes you to the cleaners with their brokerage fees. USPS and Canada Post charge a minimal amount. I have had good success shipping bigger stuff by Greyhound. Their prices have been manageable .

Hi Chris
I don't quite agree about the ball type hitch making the ground. When I wire trailers at the garage I don't usually even hook the truck to the trailer. Extra time, different size etc. I depend on the ground wire from the vehicle and make sure that wire is cleanly attached to the trailer and ...

Mike, put the collar in the freezer for a while and try again. You could also break the old bearing apart and use the inside race as Oldsalt described.

Dano, it sounds like you brought it to my place! Sometimes it is easier to mount a tire with a tube rather than some of those Wally Mart el Chinkos that have been piled 20 high. :cry ...

Hi Chris
I put new ones in my CDN3 a while ago. I put the old cores back in the box and stuck them on a shelf someplace. I will look on Saturday and see if I can get those numbers for you. As others have said they are readily available. Please put aside 2 OMVA shirts for me in XL. I need them for ...

As Wilf says, a very interesting day. Unfortunately we couldn't hook up with Bob W. We kept asking people where he was but when we didn't know what he looked like I guess we kept missing him. Bob your M38 is nice.
Thank's to Brians sharp eye outside the museum door, I realise I have the same wheel ...

Bob, it looks like Wilf, Brian and I are going to try and make this event. We will have to leave home about 3:00 am 8O to get there at a decent time. Wilf has agreed to take his diesel Jetta so the cost of fuel should be affordable. Looking forward to a great day.
Cheers,

A jeep engine is no problem on an engine stand. We regularly put big block V8's on our stand at work. There are lots of inexpensive stands available but just beware of the cheaper ones having crappy wheels. If you don't need to move it around just put the frame up on 4X4's to keep the weight off the ...

Chris, you just missed by a few days. Frank and Wilf went to Aberdeen last weekend and they brought back a load of stuff for me and Greg Anderson. No one I know is going to another US show until probably September but I will ask around.
Cheers,
Barry
