Did you rebuild the pump ? The diaphram is supposed to be in the down position when tightening the screws.Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'll double check. Stick
When I pulled the Bendix Axle on the driver side, it fell apart, balls went everwhere. I done some horse trading for these Rezzepa's. Not much snow here in southern Texas (South of Mason Dixon), and will never see the woods (In my Life).Glad to hear they are the better choice. Thanks Wesk. STICK
I'm Lost . Does the m38 and the m38a1 share these common components? Pitman Arm , Draglink ,Tie Rod configuration,Steering Knuckles,Wheels,Tire Sizes??? Why would one not work on the other Could it be a weight problem??? HELP!!! STICK
Keith, Are you referring to the cast iron throttle body(base) ? It gets cold and sweats.Are the two springs in the correct locations on the diaphrams ? Check float level.Check fuel pressure.Good Luck. STICK

So far it seems as long as I have the flanged bushing and thrust washer,without shims,it will work , or I can still do it the old way , by ckecking runout and using the shims and nut.Has anyone out there used the early axles ...
