Did you rebuild the pump ? The diaphram is supposed to be in the down position when tightening the screws.Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'll double check. Stick

When I pulled the Bendix Axle on the driver side, it fell apart, balls went everwhere. I done some horse trading for these Rezzepa's. Not much snow here in southern Texas (South of Mason Dixon), and will never see the woods (In my Life).Glad to hear they are the better choice. Thanks Wesk. STICK

I'm Lost :? . Does the m38 and the m38a1 share these common components? Pitman Arm , Draglink ,Tie Rod configuration,Steering Knuckles,Wheels,Tire Sizes??? Why would one not work on the other :? Could it be a weight problem??? HELP!!! STICK

Keith, Are you referring to the cast iron throttle body(base) ? It gets cold and sweats.Are the two springs in the correct locations on the diaphrams ? Check float level.Check fuel pressure.Good Luck. STICK

Thanks Wesk, I will continue to read up on the information you put me onto. So far it seems as long as I have the flanged bushing and thrust washer,without shims,it will work , or I can still do it the old way , by ckecking runout and using the shims and nut.Has anyone out there used the early axles ...

I hope this is't a stupid Question :roll: . I am thinking about changeing from Bendix type to Rzeppa type axle shafts.The shafts are N.O.S. WW 2 type with thread on out bound end.Will these work on an M38? If so , what do I have to do to make them correct? Do I shim, or cut the threads off? Is there ...

Thanks Wesk, I have another 46 inch bumper that is exactly like the one you showed . The one without all the holes came with the jeep with Unit markings under the paint(same on bumperetts ).Do I need to install the wood also?Wonder what this other bumper( 46 in. without all the holes ) should go on ...
