Do you have a length for A and B.
I should have took measurements of mine before I left.
When I was test fitting the frame it had a large gap between the top of the jeep at the rear of the door, but the bottom looked to line up ok, so did the front top and bottom.
Thinking I may need to add a ...

I think a $100 CJ3A falls under humor!

Just bought this, couldn't stand to see it scrapped. Got the motor, trans and transfer case, all three seats, and several wasp nests!
The head is cracked, and one of the pistons is a mess!
Story goes...the guy gave it to his son, it was rough but running, got a leak in the radiator, eventually ran ...

I live in the country, left over oil is a good thing... soaking fence posts, preservative for the barn, ect.
I work in the city, oil is an expense, disposal/environmental problem.
I like the Idea of the option, depending on your situation, paper filter, or oil bath.
Either way, you have an antique ...

My data plate lists 5qts, not sure how much I put in, I buy oil by the gallon and go by the dipstick.
Don't know if you need to, but I do put some oil in the cannister before I put the top back on.

My M38 was in the movie "Kent State” filmed in Gadsden Alabama around 1980.
It was not a star, just an extra, and it was also part of the lighting crew. They filmed mostly at night (campus not busy) they mounted lights in the back of the M38 to light the set.

In the workshop tinkering, put the bow brackets on, bows won't slide in. loosened the bolts and they do slide in.
Working with aftermarket brackets, and what I believe to be the original bows.
Feel sure you guys have run into this before, do I put a spacer between the brackets and body, file the ...

My M38 is "copper".
My boss told me as long as I took all the trash from the job site I could have the copper, that is where I got the money to start rebuilding the motor/brakes. So, all my buddys call it "ole copper"
