They came from Jeeparts UK. I'm not having a go at that particular supplier; I've bought loads of parts from them that have been just fine. Don't know who made the bolts, but Jeeparts UK are an MD Juan dealer, so its possible they made them (I have no evidence of this though). I'm not having a go at ...

Avoid the repro ones. They are only very slightly longer than the original ones, and I had one snap off in the block when it bottomed out. To enhance my annoyance, I picked up an NOS pair for less $$$ than the crappy repro ones.

Vac lines in the bottom, fuel lines in the top.

Ron Fitzpatrick has those bolt-on gutters. I guess the other vendors will too.
The M38 never had one; waterproof engine and all that. If you're intending to fit one to an M38, you'll need to figure a way for it to fit around the bracket for the right side fording cable.

Check out the second paragraph on this page:

1/2" up & down movement, so it should be snug but not over-tight.

I know what it is and know where it goes but what does it do other than hold two brackets together?
Check this out:

That cable is cheaper than a new radiator.

Many older (pre-1970?) vehicles have left hand lug nuts on the drivers side. Basically a safety thing; if the nuts haven't been torqued down, the rotation of the wheels when driving forwards prevents the left hand lug nuts from loosening (and leaving you minus 2 wheels on the driver's side ...

Amen to that. Less than pleased would be an understatement. :x

Flight Line Yellow or Strata Blue both get a thumbs up from me.
Maybe even fit a "follow me" sign similar to the one on this M37?

Nice find!

This period photo (many thanks to Wes & his photo album!) suggests the one in your photo could be authentic:

Note that if you're using the cold weather primer, you need another of those same check valves in the tee connection between the primer line and the fuel tank-to-fuel pump line (item V below, thanks to Wes' photo album):

About half way along the rod there is a rod that goes from the rod to the body. Is this just a plain piece of 3/8 inch rod stock or is there some bend or crook in the rod?
Can't speak for the M170, but on the my M38 this is just a straight piece; no bend.
