Cardiac update
I am home and in cardiac rehab. Walking several miles 3 times a week already. I did not have a heart attack, I have a mechanical valve failure. Unlike some of your comments, I was not able to have the robotic surgery between the ribs. I had my sternum split, so the recovery for me will be 12 weeks ...

These were man made materials and they were designed such that you cannot clean them. It is a throw away item.

Draft pads
Midwest Military has some NOS pads. They were made of felt and then covered in a rubber type material. Roughly 1/4" thick. I found the company that actually made them, but sadly they are out of business. Currently, I am investigating how they made this product and trying to get them made.
