The area around the Old Jeep Rendezvous is loaded with wonderful and scenic places to visit in your old Jeep.

Also, Ashton is about an hour away from the West Entrance of Yellowstone Park and about the same distance from Jackson Hole. The Rendezvous would be a good place to plan a vacation around ...

We’re hoping folks come to the Old Jeep Rendezvous for two reasons:

1. Meet and Greet other Old Jeep owners at the City Park in the morning.

2. Drive your Old Jeep and see some great sights in the afternoon.

Here are a few of the places you might go. We hope you can join us!

Idaho MVPA

Idaho MVPA members attended two Memorial Day events, one in Nampa and one in Boise. The speakers did a good job highlighting the importance of Memorial Day Ceremonies. At the Boise event, we were entertained by the Victory Belles.

No accurate yearly or monthly records have ever surfaced. 1950 models had a data plate that only showed the year of delivery as 1950. Early thru April 51 units also only had a year date on the plate 1951. Around Apr/May 51 the month and year appeared on the data plate.

There are one set of ...

M38 Production total by year?

I've noticed that many of the M38 I see advertised for sale are described as 1952. I've been searching for production totals for the M38 by year, but all I've been able to find is total production, 1950 - 1952, 45,xxx.

Anyone have information on production totals by year? 1950? 1951? 1952?

Pay attention to not disturb the field wrappings, and make sure the brushes move freely in the holders and the springs are good. A brush hanging up is usually what starts the demise of things. Brushes are cheap to replace. Check for leakage of the windings to the case, and shorts in the armature ...

When I rebuilt my 24v generator, the instructions (in the "Downloads" section of this website) called for cleaning with "volatile mineral spririts or dry cleaning solution". I use mineral sprits in my parts washer so I cleaned the really gunky parts there and followed up with clean mineral sprits ...

The picture also shows the new starter button.

The original ...
