Fender To Tub Bolt Size

Hello all!

Does anybody know the bolt size used to mount the two fenders of a ‘51 Dunbar Kapple M100 trailer to the tub? A source for 12 each nos bolts would work as well...

Thanks - TA

Electrolytic Rust Removal

Having started to take my M100 apart, I was looking into alternative ways of rust removal. So far I mainly used my electric drill with an attached wire wheel to accomplish this task. This works pretty good on even, flat surfaces but when it comes to irregular pieces with inside corners, it pretty ...

Bendix Backing Plate

I noticed that the right backing plate on my M100 has 7 mounting holes. The left one has 6 holes that mount the plate to the axle flange. The hole in the backing plate looks factory made and the right side axle flange does not have a corresponding hole.

Does anybody know what purpose this ...

Got the bushing out yesterday. Only took 4 hours...

So now I'm looking for two oil seals for the axle. Originals are National 40566. On ePay, one is $17 plus s&h. Looking for something more reasonable and checked with the local auto parts stores. They don't know...

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Wanted: M100 Shackle Bracket

I am looking for a right (passenger side) shackle bracket to go on my M100. The head of the upper shackle bushing broke off during disassembly and the body of the bushing is now fused/rusted inside the bracket.

I don't think anybody out there sells repros, so I am hoping to find a used one ...

1950s USAREUR MP Jeep

Hi Folks,

Just finished a couple of add-ons on my MP Jeep and wanted to share with the site. The sign is made from a metal disc that attaches to a custom made bracket which mounts to the spare tire utilizing the two unused lug nut holes. Text and graphics are spray painted, no vinyl lettering.

Hello everybody.

The last three weeks have been pretty busy and I wanted to thank everybody for all the hints and tips. After a lot of new sheet metal, many feet of welding wire, a contractor's pack of grinding discs, countless sheets of sand paper and several gallons of primer and OD paint the tub ...
