Ever wonder why the M38A1 looks like its smiling?
Yes... I ask this same question the other day... I stared at the front of my 54 M38A1 and fenders... then it hit me! not the jeep... rather why the M38A1 looks like it is so happy.

Fixed my bellcrank issue..test drive great! Then!@!!
So I got my bellcrank issue fixed, I shimmed the inside of the bracket and that took all the slop out of it. yes
Yes, thats exactly it, I wish I knew the terms better. The pinch bolt is as tight as it will get. I did clean out the cut out where the pinch is to ensure a good tightened pinch bolt. The bolt is actually loose just a small amount, the sleeve for the bolt (the bearing race) is the part that is loose ...

10-54 Dated 24 Volt wiring
OK, First off, this is original "take off" wiring harvested from a truck that was scrapped. The wiring is dated 10-54, no fraying or cracking, nice and supple. Ready to go on your M38A1. This wire does habe the marks from where it was wrapped up, I have enough probably to do two M38A1's. I have ...
