As far as I know, or have seen, or used....
I have never seen an "official" place to attach a handset!
It alwats relied on the clip on the backside of the handset.
It was always a handy strap, or a circle of 550 cord to clip it on.
Sometimes the handset just jammed under a strap.
Sometimes the ...

Thanks for the info whydahdvr & wesk!

What was the reflective tape for wesk?

and I remain suprised haji took that long to get NVGs. We were always waiting in 2004-2005... with all the hi-tech IED stuff they had. I suppose they would burn them out or break them; in contrast to our/my Joes who ...

We taped up every M151 and HUMVEE reflector & headlight on operations. We also removed the windshields from the vehicles and put our goggles on the back of our helmets.

Intersting enough at war we did none of this, and all the reflective stuff reflects IR quite spectacularly

For some reason my reflectors were taken off my M38 but the holes were left. At NAPA I found the correct color & size reflectors in bare metal. I painted them the same OD color as my jeep. They cost $1.50 each, and I want to say the reflector pieces were removable from the bracket.

I had this exact death wobble for a couple years. I tightened almost everything up, bearings, rods, joints. Got new tires, needed them anyway. Got them professionally balanced. Stil the death wobble!

One day I was under the vehicle and felt the steering gear box was loose. I could not see or get to ...

why my M38 radiator won't hold full amount?

The situation is I can only fill my M38s radiator half way. Anymore fluid and it blows out first time I drive it.

"Jeep" people tell me "that it seeks its level" "mine is like that" but nothing curative.

Any ideas? I feel if the truck is supposed to hold the stated/required 11 1/2 quarts, not 6 ...
