Just letting you know that "DATAPLATES4U" are just about to pruduce repro data plate for the M606~M606A2~M606A3 Kiaser period Jeeps. That is the militerised CJ3B, CJ5 and CJ5 radio 24 volt.

Well the Germans did use captured Allied vehicles. One good example was in North Africa, Romel's HQ had captured M3 half tracks and M3 Stuarts.

M38A1 grill muff footmn loops

Hello again.
What I am chassing picture/diamentions of the special "footman loops" used to attach the M38A1 winterizeation grill muff to the grill and the bonet/hood cover. I think qty 8 are used on the grill not sure how many ar required for the bonnet/hood.

Engine casting number

Hi guys!
Just curious about my engine in my recently aquired M38A1. Seeing it is missing its serial number off the engine. (must of been machined off when the previous had it rebuilt)

It has the following casting number:-

806279-W-12-D-AP CU (over) CR

Any idea what vintage the engine is and if ...
