Ok. So with a trip to the sand box, and then coming home, I finally picked up my jeep. It's not done, but that's ok. It gives me a chance to turn wrenches again and I do enjoy that therapy (or aggravation haha). The Jeep still has a ways to go, but I'll be posting pictures of what I have soon. I may ...

Wes, I'm really excited about it! I found a floor for it I believe. I plan on taking the tub off this afternoon after work and checking out the frame to make sure it's good to go. I'm sure I'll be posting more pictures tonight. It just goes to show deals are still out there! I'm really excited to ...

Ok... So the Jeep is about done and should be ready to go in December... I drove around the neighborhood yesterday though and came across a military trailer... or at least what looked like a military trailer from the road. I wasn't planning on buying a trailer, but I wanted to look at it. I knocked ...

Thanks Rick, Yeah. I thought $700 for a recore was out of line too. The guy working on my A1 (Jim Lurba, who was a judge for MVPA apparently) said that was a crazy price too. He quote me roughly $400-$450 and he has seen it. So we are looking for other options because $700 is just crazy. Jim said it ...

Radiator Shop that knows how to work on M38A1 Radiators...

Like the title says. I'm looking for a good radiator shop that knows how to work on these old radiators. I'm in Virginia so I'd have to ship it which isn't a problem. I just need to find a shop that knows what to do. The last shop that had it said it would cost $700 to recore.... Trying to shop ...

no kidding.... I've put 15+K into this jeep and it's still not finished. Granted I've also paid for labor as I sent it off, but still... good lord lol. I like the Jeep acronym. Very fitting.

The underside and inside engine area of the jeep is already painted. So all that needs painting now is the exterior that you can see. Does that answer your question Wesk? I'm assuming I interpreted it correctly.

Got some more pictures of the jeep. I had to get rid of the old body because it was just too far gone and Bubba really did a number to it... I hate Bubba. Now after all of that, my wallet hates me and my wife isn't too happy with me either.... at least my jeep is starting to look like a jeep again ...

Radiator needed for my 52 M38A1.

I'm looking for an M38A1 Radiator. I've seen this one ( http://www.4wd.com/Heating-Cooling/Replacement-2-Core-Radiator-for-F-134-4-Cylinder-Engine-with-Manual-Transmission.aspx?t_c=84&t_s=518&t_pt=5111&t_pn=IARWT-412HD# ) which looks like it would work, but I'm looking for something that would be a ...
