Hi Brian,
The dimmer switch with 2 fixed Douglass connectors and 1 wire:
-Douglass connector Male is the wiring # 18, is the Low Beam.
-Douglass connector Female is the wiring #16, goes to the Light Switch # "'D".
-the wire have the #17 is the High Beam.
This switch is the ORDN.PART #7728788.

You're right the component that is missing found on page150; 4x Fastener, instrument panel shake proof (instrument cluster to instrument panel) #SHA-9805-20-00//#WO-800393.

John calls it: Instrument Panel Dzus Dash Clip - WO 800393.

Hi Brian,
See ORD9 SNL G-740, FIG.06-12, page110 "AA" and "Z".
On page 155; "AA" ,4x Washer,retainer, instrument panel #7526591.
On page 154; "Z". 4x Stud, quick fastener, oval-hd,zn pltd,1/4"diam,#7526590.
The same are in the M38A1.

The main harness is made by myself.
This is axacte copy of two existing used original main harness that came of the M38A1(Nekaf).
I used original Prestolite cable AWG No. 14 and other Original parts.

Tomorrow I sent you a photo of "how the splice block is tucked into your rear left frame ...

There are no chains listed in the Dutch(M38A1(Nekaf)) manuals and if look at the illustrations there are none.
