Anyone know a good source for M38 tires. I have 7x16 NDTs with the square shoulder and would probably buy the same type. Who has the best prices these days?
Thanks

Finished original springs
Wes, Joe, everyone, thanks for the help. Here are my finished springs. Some handy data to check springs for sag, or to help a spring shop re-arch:
Front:
- Distance between eyes center to center straight line unloaded - 34 3/4"
- Arch unloaded - 3 3/4" (distance from top leaf to line drawn between ...

M38 - No shims on rear axle and it's still too loose???
Any rear end specialists out there? With the wheel bearing on the axle and the axle in the housing (spline end in the differential) even with no shims there is too much axle (in and out) play. I'm looking at the schematics and it looks like there is a block or spacer in the middle of the ...

M38 - How tight should wheel bearings be on axle?
This is all pretty new to me. It was almost impossible to remove the old wheel bearings from my rear axles. I'm putting new ones on now. How hard should it be to drive the cones onto the axle, and the cup into the axle housing? The TM makes it sound easy (… place the axle into the housing, then tap ...

M38 - Cardan Joint Front Axle - Lube or not?
Does anyone have much experience with these? I had Bendix and am replacing them with Cardan.
If I understand what I'm seeing in the manual, the wheel turning angle for the Cardan is greater than the Bendix, so I don't need to reset the turn stops. Is that correct?
I haven't found info on ...

Who knows? Wheel with square slots?
Ok, does anyone know what this is? My M38 has two correct/original wheels on the front and two very similar wheels on the back except they have square slots.
