1950 M-38 For Sale

1950 M-38, early production, one of the first 500 produced (MC10394). Mostly original except for tires, headlights, and a few odds and ends. Original 24v system. Original fording system still in place. Original data plates. All gauges work. Blackout light and cat eyes work. No rust. Runs good. Rear ...

Replacing crankshaft pulley

Yesterday the crankshaft pulley let go... literally sheared right off going down the road... heard something spinning loose... looked back and there it went rolling down the road. I guess age, wear and tear took it's toll. The nut and key are all still in place.

Any tips in replacing it? I have ...

Fording Cable Handle

My 1950 M38 is missing its fording cable and handle... everything else is present. From my research it looks like it's a t-level handle - correct? Also what color is it? Black? OD Green?

Thanks for the help.

I live pretty close and most likely won't be staying on site. I there a schedule for this event. I've only seen that we're doing "this" on this day and "this" on this day but very few times associated with it.

Thanks,

I checked with Saturn... they don't have that specific part. That's where I got the shells. I will check with Midwest... checked the website but you never know if you call :)

Douglas Connector Part

I am hoping that someone might help me with a connector part that I'm looking for. It's the center, black "Y" connector in this g503 thread... I have the "Y" Connector shells and everything else. Just need the internal connector.

Using a Buchanan Astro MS3191-1 Mil Spec 10692 Ratchet Crimp

I'm doing some wiring of my marker lights and BO light. Most the of the original wiring is already in place. Unfortunately most of the connections have been cut with nothing but the bare wire... I have some Douglas connectors and all the hardware needed. A friend of mine let me borrow his crimper to ...

Thanks for the responses.... the first thing I always do is a Google and forum search. Unfortunately most of the discussions had to do with turn signal conversion, lenses, doors, etc, rather than the connector. I always try doing my homework :)

That's my question actually... who are the vendors who sell repair kits... I've found several who offer the complete marker light, or doors, lens, but not just the connector assembly and I haven't a repair kit... or if anyone else replaced the light connector assembly with an aftermarket part from ...

Marker Light rebuild

Rather than replacing my front marker lights (cat eyes) I'd like to rebuild them... the housing, doors, lens, plugs, and supports can all be reused but the connector assemblies are shot... suggestions as to a source to replace
this part of the light? (24 volt system)

Yes... I'm looking for Aervoe paint... I found Haage and have a call into him... I didn't know if there were others sources as well.

Thanks,
