T 90 trans and transfer case for 1952 M38A1
Driving home from impromptu VE Day display I shifted to second gear and let the clutch out and all kinds of racket started. Haven’t had time to look at it yet but am sure will need to pull Tran and transfer case. Pretty sure some hard parts broke. Will still move slowly in low and third. If I decide ...

Wes, I’m hoping to figure out how to use the speaker that plugs into the military radio in my Jeep. Knew it was short notice. This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while and when this came up over the weekend I decided to get off my tail and get it done. I’ve downloaded some audio onto my IPAD ...

Help with radio transmissions
I am doing a display at a replica of the Vietnam Wall for the eighth graders from the local schools next week. One of the thing I have been trying to locate is a recording of radio transmissions that I can playthru the speaker on my radio. I was hoping some of you could point me to a cd or a place I ...

If I read correctly you earlier said carb was flooding. Oil diluted with gasoline is a quick way to eat up a bearing. The other thing that can happen is turning the motor over with a cylinder full of gasoline can knock a bearing out or even bend a rod. I hope this isn’t your problem but it is sure ...

Brake adjusting
Drivingour M38A1 home after Memorial Day Car show(won judges choice award) brake pedal seems lower than normal. Pedal is firm, just low. Going to start looking in manual but to me seems like brakes need adjusting. No fluid leaks(master cylinder or lines or wheel cylinders visible. Really think that ...

M38A1 Parts
I stripped anM38A1 frame and have many parts left over that I did not need. If it bolted to the frame I probably have it. Transmission, transfer case seem to work, front and rear third member turn smoothly, lots of brackets, bolts, etc. Parts are located in Central Texas. Let me know what you need ...

Thanks for the replies. Still trying to learn about this stuff. Wes you were right. It is 67/. Guess I really have the wrong radio in it. The Jeep is marked with Texas National Guard 36th Infantry 143-3. If I understand the chart it should have a 68/ for Infantry. Can someone tell me if any of the ...
