After rewiring My 1952 M38A1 with a new electrical harness, and having the engine rebuilt all seems well. Two lingering issues I have had and wonder if others have answers for.
Leaving my Jeep sit for a few days, it seems I have a Battery drain in the system even if the switch on the dash is off ...

Battery Issues M38A1
Every year I go to get my jeep ready for the year, it is always dead. I usually unhook the batteries from the wires and just leave them in the jeep. Sits in a garage, non heated. Yesterday I tried to light the lights and would not even turn lights on. Starting to charge the batteries again. So do I ...

New Seats for My M38A1
The Passenger side seat I believe is original and the driver is a newer non-regulation seat. Where is a good place to get good seats and backs for my jeeps without spending alot?

Engine
The garage that rebuilt it, rebuilt it entirely. I do know that they put it together wrong for the fact it was out of time and the oil pump timing was off and a few screws were loose. I will print these replies off so that when I go out we can talk about what to do. I did order a new pushrod but ...

Push rod Issues. M38a1

(Pic)The #1 cylinder is on its intake stroke, going down almost at its furthest downward point and still not making contact with ...

M38A1 wiring harness wrong.
I recently bought a wiring harness from Kaiser Willy's and it took about 3 months to get it. I got a call from the guy putting it in my jeep and he stated the harness has male ends that connect to the male end on the headlights. (pic 1) Is there a workaround to fix this or just connect them and ...

M38a1 motor hook uo
Put my newly rebuilt motor in. Been looking for a picture or video of where all the wires go. There are some wires I think the rebuild place threw out and not sure what I am missing.
