T90 rebuild. There is a large spacer between the bearing retainer and the throw out bearing carrier.
Have not seen this before. Could not find this spacer in diagrams. Seems it would change the clutch fork leverage.
Is this correct for a 1952 M38? Or a motorpool addition? Thoughts?

T-90 gear condition w/photos
I found rust on some gear teeth mating surfaces on my T-90. Do these need to be replaced and why?

M38 top starter bolt
How do you remove the top starter bolt? None of my tools can reach that “blind bolt”. It’s a 52 M38 with late model (M38A1 style) 24 volt original Auto Lite starter.

Well don't I feel stupid. It's been so long since I've driven the M38, that I completely forgot about the hand pump on the fuel/vacuum pump. Scoutpilot rebuilt it so it should work.
RonD2's suggestion for filling the carb bowl thru the fitting also seems like a good work around after longer periods ...

M38 no start condition
Been on the sidelines with health issues. M38 has been sitting for 3.5 months.
My usual start procedure (per Scoutpilot from carb and fuel pump rebuild): Full choke until engine kicks once. Then choke in, add throttle to start. Reminds me of chainsaw start procedure.
I realize the manual says ...
