barely see the switch letters ,were they water slide transfers or painted

Is it that I asked a dumb question about these test adapters or is it that
no body nows , I don't want to use them if they are no good , running a test
from one end of the adapters to the other on the same corresponding pin
Should in my eyes be the same but ime getting a reading from ...

The test adapters I brought arrived today so I thought I would do
a continuity test on them to see if all is good , are they serposed to
Show continuity on 2 pins one end and only one on the other ,
(Hold red probe frm volt mtr one end ,shows continuity on other black
lead frm volt mtr on two ...
