Rear main cap

Hi Wes,

I'm currently rebuilding an M38 engine (cast number 641087-L-W12, engine number MC99273). I have found that there is no small tube on the rear main cap. Is this normal and is it absolutely necessary?

Swap my Chevy G7107 for an M38 jeep

Hi group,

I officially announce that I'm looking to swap my 1942 Chevrolet G7107 truck for an M38 jeep (CDN or U.S) in perfect condition. I'm living in Quebec but my offer is also available in Ontario.

My truck is rebuilt to new and it is registered and has clear titles. Only the official ...

Wanted for a M38A1 body tub

Hi,

I have a friend who wants to rebuild his 1967 M38A1CDN2. The tub is very poor and he's looking to find a original one in good shape in Ontario or in the New-England states ( Maine, Vermont, New-Hampshire ). I know, it's rare but if someone has one and willing to sell, let me know and I'll keep ...

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Even though I don't come to the site often, I remain an M38 lover in my heart and at least once a week before going to bed, I look at a few pages of the book you wrote while eating a few maple leaf cookies.

Cheers from Canada

New M38 album

Hi Wes and Ryan,

Hope you are well and despite I don't write often on the site, I regularly read the posts. Tell me, do you think to do a new edition of the book on the M38 jeep? I know, it's a lot of work but if you have the idea to do one again, I'll be a taker. Also, to make it even more ...

I agree. I rebuilt my T90 few years ago with parts from Novak and it works perfectly.

Hi Steve,

Yes, driving a Chevy G506 is as easy as a jeep. The problem with all HMVs that are bigger than a Dodge WC is the space to park them. I'm happy to have rebuilt my Chevy from the ground to top but it will be my money change to have another M38CDN in few years. My purpose will be to rebuild ...
