Took out the protronix kit. Been running points and have had no coil issues. Now I can a little bit of a put out of the exhaust but I have not finished tuning yet.

The condensor doesnt care the voltage. Go to your local parts store and ask for one for a cj3a. It is the same part

Also to note jeep was running great last night, took it about 5 miles, at about mile 4 it start to cough and loose power, about 300 yards from my house I had to put it in low range to get it home. Opened the hood, tried to figure things out, jeep stalled, would not restart.

1) Pretronix is wired correctly and has been working well for years
2) All vacuum lines are hooked up as they are supposed to be

Did get the jeep to fire again last night after I found it had spark. It took a lot of cranking but finally did catch. Shut it down it wouldn't refire, gave up for the ...

It took me awhile to find all the parts to my winch setup. It started with the winch itself which was attached to a cj5, they I found a pto on craigslist, then another that came with the hanger bearing, so I sold the extra one, they I had a winch frame made. It was fun tracking down all the parts.

Good luck on finding a Gardwood level wind. I have never seen a jeep one for sale, and only seen photos of it, on one jeep.

As for the rest of the parts they do come up for sale every so often. The pillow block and be found here, it is a repop but looks the part

Wes any time you can use better bearings the life will increase. I used a nos kit when I redid my jeep years ago. It only took about 5000 miles for it to weare out. I bet the new system lasts much longer. What is nice is no one can tell a change was made.

I redid my bell crank with tapered roller bearings. A guy on the cj5 page is doing the machine work. Best upgrade ever. Took out all the slop and will last much longer.

Wes if you find a complete Ramsey 50 setup for 2500 please forward it to me. The last Ramsey 105a pto I sold alone 5 years ago went for $1000.
