I have several accessories on my M38 (can, tools, first aid kit, M1 replica, field phone, web belt, helmet). I used small diameter braided wire rope, made loops, and secured it with small keyed luggage locks. I was able to tuck it out of sight on each item. Strong and secure. Jim

I'm having difficulty with my 52 M38 at higher ambient air temperature; >90. She initially starts fine, runs great until slowing down from highway speeds to an idle; then doesn't want to idle, sometimes quits. Also, it is then more difficult to start, but once it gets going does fine again at ...

Hi Tom,

I purchased 4 Firestones for my M38 this summer from Coker. I ran them for a week and had one which was defective; a cord had not been molded properly, it let loose and cut the tube. I received great customer service from Coker to resolve the defect. I love the tires!

I have a 1952 M38; I have been troubleshoot chasing using TM-8012, and OS9-72 manuels.

The trouble is; it idles great but when there is a load placed on the engine (a hill) it begins to miss and loose power, then smooths out again without load. Civilian plugs wires are intact, Autolight plugs are ...
