L-134 radiator housing question.

I have an L-134 and the thermostat is loose. It seems to be turning sideways inside the housing. Someone mentioned an additional pipe or bracket is needed to support it.

this is inside the housing on top the L head.

There supposed to be a mount inside the housing that the thermostat sets on. you can get one from the vendors.

It looks like a sheet metal piece of pipe that is flaired inwards to hold the thermostat.
