I bough ta MD tailgate . I ended up patching an old one together. The tailgate weighs about 1/2 of what the old one does. The holes are not spaced properly,and the pivot rod in the bottom for the hinge is too thick to fit the hinge. I have a NOS MD Juan junk M38 tailgate painted green sittong in the loft in my shop.
