The only question I have not been able to answer is regarding the interior thrust washer that goes in the axle housing just inside the bendix joint. In the Ord 9 manual on page 212 this is key item "V" part no. 7372870 and described as "washer".......is this part newable......and if it is ......is it still available.....or does anyone have the specs for it so I can have a new set made? Mine look like this........and since I have no practical knowledge of how they're supposed to look......does this look normal and reusable? And how come that one side is apparently taking no thrust at all (judging by the build up of sludge on the washer)?

I hesitate to try too hard to remove my old washers for fear of being unable to find new (or even used) ones. So does anybody know where one might find these guys? And how come its always this way......the last part you have to find is the first part you need to start rebuilding? Is that some kind of "jeep" rule? Thanks everyone for all the help!!!
Jim
