Rear Pinion seal leak.

Post by Scott21 »

Is it possible to change the rear pinion seal with the rear in the jeep? I am thinking so. Can I change it out like on my TJ or does the dust shield change the situation. Looking for input.

You remove the big nut and slide the yoke off. Sometins you need to drill a small hole in the seal and thread a screw in it to use to pull the old seal out.

That big dust shield slides right off with the yoke.
