Unit Markings Decoding

My 1952 M38 has no unit markings but my 1952 M100 does so I thought I would match the jeep to the trailer but I have looked at all the Korean unit number data bases and I have not been able to decode these numbers. On the left rear of the trailer is: 221-GP-2045 and on the right rear is the number: B-4U. Do these numbers mean anything to any of you? Thanks, Sonny

Just in case anyone is interested - I solved the unit number problem - it is an Army National Guard unit i.d.

According to the info that I obtained: 221st EOD, Group Pool - Camp Blanding, Florida

I think you have my old trailer. Did you but it in one of the Carolinas? If so,it came from an Air base in New York. Shawn

Shawn - yes I bought it in NC - I believe the previous owner (Mike) bought it while in FL and I think I remember him saying that it came from the Guard.

No,nothing other than the kid i bought it from said it may have been from the Plattsburgh air base. He seemed to not have much knowledge about it though. What a beautiful trailer. Shawn
