Fording 1955 M170/M38a1

I am re-tubing my 1955 M170 and a question has come to mind that I need to be sure of. I'm essentially asking the same question three different ways below.
-Since my M170 came out in 55 and did not have deep water fording parts on it, what parts should I put on it to make it underwater capable (deep water fording).
-What comes in the deep water fording kit?
-If the deep water fording kit is the intake pipe and supports, and the exhaust pipe and supports; is it necessary to have all the vent piping, valves and fording cables or is it proper to just have the intake and exhaust?
-I know the early models came pre-plumbed with the vent lines and fording valves so does that mean it is not expected on a later model? even if the deep water fording kit is installed?
Sorry if this has been asked before. I tried to search first but came up empty. May my search terms are wrong.

To protect the jeep properly you must have the basic fording equipment installed along with the deep water fording kit.

Your ORD 9 lists all the basic fording components and the field installed kit only has the induction and exhaust snorkels and their brackets and clamps.
