Gentle People,
I am just about to start rebuilding my M38A1, and was wondering if there was a sheath for the axe on it. I know it goes on the right wheel housing, but was there any thing under the holder to protect the blade? I have not seen anything difinitive in pictures or text, so I thought I would ask. Thanks for your time.

M38A1 Axe
Thanks for the quick reply. I thought that was the right answer, but I readily admit that I don't have much of a knowledge base yet. Again, thanks!
I SWEAR it said Tab A went into Slot B!
