you won't besorry with ryan's book, I wish I had it at the start of my m38 research as it would have saved me both time and money. I now take it with me when I travel so I can always spot the right parts!

Yes he has M38 Resto book copies available.

The M38 military manuals you'll need are on our downloads pages in PDF format. You can buy paper copies at Portrayal Press.

The PDF files have been very usefull, but at the same time I also like to have paper in hand to read, computer screens get hard on the eyes and some of the print outs get too dark to make out some of the pics. and some pages, too dark to read.I also would like to thank wes and ryan & eveyone who helps to keep this site going,it is very valuable for all the info and advise that can be had from the people and material on this web site.THANKS VERY MUCH.

The book is nearly invaluable. Wish I had it when I bought my '38. I have one for home and one for the shop. I think Ryan intends to update it with additional data in the coming years.
This website is one of the very best sources of information on our hobby and and am thankful we non-mechanics in the hobby have such skilled and talented people to rely on for help.

As for the printing, experiment with your printer options for lightening up the page. Sometimes you can adjust the settings so it is nearly perfect. (and you save ink)
