Looking for M38A1 frame specs

Post by tkjeeper »

Just sent the frame to be blasted, have a few brackets rotted off. I couldn't find a pdf file for the frame of my M38A1, anyone have a link that could help. I tried searching but too large parameters I guess. Thanks all

I don't believe we have any frame spec sheet loaded in any form. The TM 9-8015-2 covers frame and frame alignment checks with dimensions. You can download that manual on our downloads page. I also have an assortment of A1 frame photos on my photo storage site at:
http://mdframe.mypicgallery.com/
and:
http://mdrunninggear.mypicgallery.com/
and:
http://m38a1tubmounts.mypicgallery.com/

You can download the photos you need and cut out the parts you need and post them asking for the parts or measurements on the "Wanted" board.

Now Hillbilly, thats just mean! I got mine for $500 also but with fenders, hood, grill and a couple of rotten tubs, however the chassis will need some work. Believe me if I were near you I'd be all over that! Then again, probably good for my marriage that I'm not that close. Thanks all.
