Hello everyone. I have been lurking on the forum for a few days now, and decided I would post up my project. I have started restoring a M38A1 used by the RCAF, and have made up a blog/site/whatever you want to call it. It can be found at:
Any feedback on the site, and what you would like to see, what works for you, what you don't like etc, would be great, as I plan on keeping the site up for a long time. It is usually updated every weekend as I work on it, and I take LOTS of pictures along the way, so the whole thing is documented pretty much step by step. Please keep in mind that I am doing this on a student budget while going to school, so I am trying to do as many things by myself as possible to keep costs down. This is also why I can only update on the weekends. School keeps me busy all week but working on this Jeep is the only thing that keeps me sane through school. This forum has already been a great source of info for some of the things I have done. Hope you like it!
Great site Jim! Always enjoy seeing lots of in-progress pics. Looks like you'll have plenty to occupy your limited spare time. That heavy-duty "engine hoist" will come in handy. Good luck!

Thanks Dave. Yes, there certainly is enough work to do on this one. Don't know what people did to this Jeep, but a good portion of it was in a bad way when I found it. Very thankful to have that tractor around for parts of this.
Thanks Wes. I did it through Wordpress.com, and posting pictures to Photobucket for some of the links. Seems to work pretty well actually. Appreciate the comments too, any other tips/info you have do not hesitate to let me know. I am new to all of this so some places I am fumbling in the dark.
