Drivers Seat Attachments

Post by flightmap »

Does any one have pictures or drawings (dimensioned) for a M38 drivers seat attachments? Specifically the two REAR attachments. Page 314 (fig 133 or para. 268) has one rear support, but not the other. I need both (with dimensions if possible). My seats apparently lost the welded supports in their history. I have no information on what the left one looks like (it rests on the wheel well). Thanks in advance for any help on this question

The left side of the seat is supposed to rest against the fender well.

I see you are in San Diego. I'm near Escondido. I have the seats out of mine right now and you can come up and take a look at them if you want, take measurements, etc. The frames were cut off above the bottom cushion, and have Mustang (or?) cushions on them, but I'm pretty sure the bottom frames, legs and attachment points are original. PM me if you want an address.
