Ok i have a carb that came off my m38. Its an angled top. But bolts on a 38. Is it for thr 38 or 38a1?

Not sure what you are saying Matt but the YS637S (M38 Carb) and the YS950S (M38A1/M170 carb) differ in throttle bore (950 is bigger) and the clocking of the carb base section. Bot carbs have a 90 degree air horn section on top and both point towards the passenger side of the jeep but the bases have their two bolt holes aligned forward/aft for the 637S (m38) and left/right for the 950S (M38A2/M170)
