My '52 A1 has the oil line leaving the gallery just in front of the fuel pump going up through the rubber grommet in the hole of the oil filter bracket to the upper side filter canister. The lower filter canister bottom outlet goes to the small brass female fitting on the timing cover. That's it. The hoses when correct have one end that will swivel. Hope this helps. The fitting or elbow behind the fuel pump is tilted forward slightly for the hose to clear the fuel pump mount/bolt. A very tight fit. john
