transfer case crossmember

Post by circleburner12 »

cleaning the crossmember on the m38a1 and notice the rubber mount was too bad to reuse. got it out and notice a cup was welded to the crossmember and appeared to be another cup that the mount set in.

?- does anyone have a illustrated breakdown or picture of this crosmember? thanks for any info

All of the crossmembers have that transfer case mount and the mount kit is readily available on the MV parts websites. Here is a link to one on Walcks.

after cleaning the rust and parts of the rubber mount out of the cup i seen how it was. it reminded me of a race for a bearing, with some wd40 and a hammer it came out. thanks for the info guys.
