Can anyone give me a comparison of ride quality with the Superlift springs with the 2.5" built-in lift as compared to the stock military springs? I have an M-38 with the Superlifts. It is still in the assembly stage but a friend says my aftermarket Superlifts are much stiffer in ride quality than the stock leaf springs. He makes this assessment by jumping on my bumpers to check spring compression with the Superlifts installed. I bought the Superlifts thinking I would get a softer ride than the stock military springs, not harsher. Now I am not sure. Anyone have experience with the Superlifts?
Thanks,
Jordan

I have not used that brand but your buddy should not judge any modern spring by jumping on the bumper. It's is the spring rate engineered into the modern springs that make them more comfortable to ride. Their stiffness and resistance to rebound increases as the rebound or shock load increases. This results in a lot less spine crunching on regular roads and better protection and performance on rough trails.
