Replacing lug studs
I am wanting to replace the lug studs on the front left side of my 52 m38 with right hand threads. All the others are already right hand thread. What does this involve? Thanks.

Disassemble and remove the hub. Drive the old studs out and the new studs in and re-assemble.

Thanks Wes....I was kinda thinkin that's what you were going to say...oh well, back to the beer store. By the way, when I removed the wheel I noticed that the old left hand studs each had a small groove worn in them about 1/8" deep kind of like the notch on a gun handle about where the wheel would make contact. Ever seen this kinda thing before and know what might have caused it? Thanks again.

A loose wheel at some time in the past. Or a wrong wheel at some time.
