Another stupid question re plumbing fuel line to pump...

When I install new fittings into the fuel pump, do I need to use teflon tape on the theads or not?

Tapered pipe threads of brass threading into soft metals will seal just fine. The use of teflon tape will result in the pipe fitting soon working loose.
