Little help with my clutch z-bar too please!

Post by Deadguy »

I got a z-bar and the rest of the kit, again from John at Midwest Military. My old z-bar appeared to be backwards, and had no spring in it (so it rattled). I installed the new one, the correct way. It's a tight fit, the ball ends barely making it inside the z-bar tube, but that's probably to be expected with new components. so now, it sits at a slight angle, although that might be the stiffness of the ball to tube connections, and the clutch push rod travels very close to the transmission housing. The engine is pulled, so I can't line it all up, but it this correct?

Make sure you have the short arm connected to the pedal and the long arm at the bell housing side.
