The m-38 fenders have a vertical hat channel mid-fender that bolts to the frame. Where can a guy find some of this material?

They are up fro sale occasionally as NOS parts. Some dealers usually have a couple here and ther. Do a little dealer calling. I have two NOS in the garage.

Make sure to avoid getting sold MD Juan stuff. That's what I ended up with. Its thinner gage and they weren't as long on the underside of the fender as stock supports. Short by 3/4". I ended up using one of them but decided to fix the other stock one that wasn't so bad. Here's a pic where you can see how it came up short to the stock location.
