M38 Winch

Post by bbloom »

Wes,
I know the correct winch for the M38 is a Ramsey model 50. Do you know what the difference between a Ramsey model 50 and a Ramsey model 50R is, if any?

The ramsey 50 is rated at 3500 lbs, the 50r is rated at 5000lbs. The ramsey 50r has to plugs on each side on the top. The ramsey 50 is flat

Thanks Bill. Are the dimensions the same, ie will it fit into the frame for the model 50?
