Perhaps you have a family member or friend with a digital camera who could photograph your finished product and the dimensions we would want are the outer dimensions (away from the bezel) so one can better approximate the thicknesses and heights needed. The inner dimensions that match the gauge are as you said a given. New ideas and problem solutions are great and are much easier to share when they are illustrated. :wink:
