I finally got sick of adding more gear oil to my dads A1, and he got sick of it leaking on his shop floor, so I decided to change the front seal in the transfer case. This is what I found when I pulled the yoke out.

No wonder the seal leaked! Luckily I had a spare yoke laying around that wasn't grooved AND was bored through the center, so I stuck that in with the new seal and its good to go again.

Looks to be original military too. I'm surprised one would get sent out like that.
