M38 for sale (Craigslist / central Minn.)

Post by m38olddog »

This one isn't mine, but I always enjoy seeing another M38, and I thought I'd share the
craigslist link (no photos) and some photos the seller sent me. One small photo here,
and then (to save space on this site) links to the rest if you're interested.

Edited by Wes K to keep the post in line with the sale board posting rules.I am selling the most rare Willy's Jeep ever made. . . a 1951 M38 Fording Jeep. I have done a complete mechanical overhaul on this jeep which has the original engine with only 26,000 miles. Everything in the Jeep is an original feature or part. I am asking $12,000 or best offer. Please e-mail me for pictures because there are just too many to post. Let me know what view you would like and please feel free to contact me about seeing the Jeep. It's a stunner:)

No, sorry Wes. I've only exchanged an email with the seller requesting pictures. Because
the asking price is a bit beyond what I'd offer, I didn't follow up on the details, and it's
about 150 miles from me, so I haven't been able to see it in person. If I do, you can be
sure I'll get all the data for the registry! Just thought I'd post the link here in case some
other member would be interested.

It certainly appears to be a solid jeep. Just lacks a bit of attention to detail.
