finally found a mt-299 radio mount. with the rt-68 and pp-112 i believe i have a vrc10 set up. on the pass side of my seat i have a cable connector. what im needing is the cable numbers that from the battery to the cable connector and then from the connector to the mt-299 radio mount.

i will be installing the radio set-up behind the driver side seat on the wheel well. with the need of cables #'s does anyone know who stocks these cables. thxs

Do you have the wooden radio mount blocks? You will need them to mount the MT-299... Rod in Ala was making them...

Also you will need the cable tray from Midwest Military...

Your MT-299 mount should have a cable on it with conector that plugs into the connector on the passenger side by the seat. If you do not have that then check with MWM or Peter Debella for the radio install kit, it will have all the cables and brackets to add the wiring from the battery to the connector...

I have the same setup as you and being a Ham Radio operator, I have repaired my radios and PS to work... I talk to my wife during parades with the radio and it is neat to see the faces of folks realizing that the radio is actually working...

wesk, is that drawing taken from the tm 11-286? if so. can this tm be downloaded from some. i tried blowing the drawing up. but still couldnt make the words out very good. thxs
