carburetor throttle shaft

Post by Cacti_Ken »

What would be the tap for the screw holes where the throttle valve goes? I broke off the screw. I was able to drill down the center of the screw. I haven't damaged the threads yet. I need to tap the remaining brass out.

I think it is a 3-48 but not sure.

3-48 is what is listed in the parts manual on page 68 for those two screws.

Are you rebushing your throttle body as well? If so, I'd like to see.

I don't have plans to rebush the body. I don't feel any play in it.
