Front Diff Gear Set...

Post by OKCM38CDN »

I am looking for a source of the Dana 25 Front Gear set (Four gears in the center of the ring) Part number 7372860, I do not find anythinng on the Kaiser Willys Site and Walack's list a part nuber of 926544...

I went into the front axle this afternoon and found one of the smaller gears all broken up in the bottom of the differential and another with some tooth damage... :( could not find anything else wrong ... :)

I have 8 tooth Pinion and 43 tooth Ring...

Now I need to order the parts to put it all back together... :?

Thanks in advance...

Hal,

Could the lead be shared with the rest of the group?

I found them at AJP...

Was a very nice transaction, a young lady from there called me in response to my email and phone calls to them and she said they had them for about $95... She was also informed enough to inquire about gaskets or seals...

I do not know if they are same as Walacks sells or not, that is why I was asking the original question...

Just hoping I get them in time to work around the bad weather coming later this week...

Let it rain... :D

Got my new gear set from AJP... :D

Original 1950's packaging Box was sealed in Wax and gears coated in cosmoline...

Now to get them cleaned up to install when the weather clears...
