I guy is offering me a siren for my M38 which is in MP-style.
I could not find any historcal picture with an Siren on the M38-fender and I don´t want to screw something wrong.
Do you guys know an original historical picture with siren?
Or didn´t use the MP sirens after WW2?
Many thanks for informations

Here's some WW2 jeeps in Korea 1953; one has a siren fitted:

That's Jack Benny in the front jeep and Errol Flynn in the jeep behind, btw.

Sirens well still used on jeeps through the 80's. They are just a siren. No matter weather MP, SP, LE, SP, EOD or FD they are just a standard military stocked siren in 6, 12 and 24 Volt types.
(Military Police, Security Police, Law Enforcement, Shore Patrol, Emergency Ordinance Disposal and Fire Department)
They were installed in the field and different units easily varied on mounting location and wiring. The norm was the right fender.
