It helps to have the manuals.

TM 9-871A Operator & Maintenance July 1951
ORD 9 SNL G-747 February 1952
ORD 7 & 8 SNL G-747 July 1956
TM 9-2330-201-14 Operation, Maintenance & parts April 1972

The WWII trailer manuals and the M416 manuals are helpful for comparing parts interchangeability.

Do you have data plates with your trailer and did it come with the early or late type trailer to jeep cable and the cable storage box?

data plates are there, no storage box but the brackets are there. no cables,

ive been storing it at my parents house and moved it to my brothers welding shop yesterday. but if i remember right it seems the date of the trailer was 1953.

The first couple of years the trailer came with a receptacle in the lower right (pass side) front corner for one end of the intervehicle cable. Later trailers did not have this receptacle. Instead the tail light wires ran all the way up inside the right diagonal drawbar to a terminal arrangement where the newer single ended intervehicle cable was attached via those Douglass connectors. This area of the right diagonal drawbar had a plate bolted on to cover the terminals and the cable storage box was dropped but the two brackets remained.

yes it does have the bracket in place for the receptacle in the lower right (pass side) front corner for one end of the intervehicle cable.

i purchase the panels from stephen greene. greene's panel works. he went out of business and says he has some panel's in stock.

BUT! before you contact him and see if he has anymore in stock and purchase panels from him, you need to contact me, because you will change your mind. thxs
